Fetlock RF Lateral

The lateral projection is one of several included in a standard radiographic
examination of the fetlock. The phase contrast images provide additional details of the bone
and soft tissue structures

Conventional X-ray:

• Limited density information
• Minimal soft-tissue contrast
• Lack of fluid definition

XR-Vet EBS:

• Edge enhancement effects allow better visualization of subtle abnormalities
• Increased bone density information

XR-Vet STS:

• Clear fluid definition
• Increased contrast between the various soft tissue structure bone density information
• Increased contrast between dense and less dense bone
